While perhaps some people will not find that article as amusing as I did I must admit that America certainly is developing some interesting trends these days to going back to “traditional” values.
I am not sure what my favorite quote is but “This week, another court refused to recognize Mississippians’ right to find companionship for 29.99 and so a law outlawing the sale of sex toys will stand.“ is classic.
cheers. :p

The battery companies are already sending their lobbyers to the state capital. Imagine how much that will hurt their sales  lol.

LOL amazing
I especially liked this:
In Mississippi, people can buy guns at a gun show with no background check and certain weapons can be carried almost anywhere. Sure, guns and toys can bring joy and a sense of comfort to the user, but apparently the legislators concluded that a genital replica is a far greater threat to society.

Our government put forward a recommendation that junk food shouldn't be put on stands right next to supermarket check-outs, as something to help people stay away from whats bad for them. People got a little angry about it and complained that the government was attempt to dictate how we live our lives...
Thanks to mississippi we can put a little perspective on it. At least our politicians aren't complete morons.

Yes, I think that's the dumbest part of it. All they are outlawing is the ability to make a profit from sexually stimulating devices. Is it really that which they want to do away with?
Surely some shops will simply sell devices with other stated uses. The legislation does absolutely nothing.

Now they will start selling penis shaped back massagers next to the tobacco bongs in head shops.

I lived in Mississippi. I live In Philadelphia, PA now. I'm not at all unhappy with the deicision to move.
Mississippi doesn't have much to do for fun other than drinking (except on Sunday) and shooting. Now it apparently doesn't even have inflatable fun. I'm sure they'll soon get rid of other sinful and salacious things like makeup, hair care products, comic books, National Geographic magazines, television broadcasts that don't involve televangelism or fishing, electric guitars, and skirts that rise above the ankle.
Nossir. I don't much miss Mississippi. :)
