This is updated with the latest info from Wiki Silky Venom. If Ive made an error or something changes and I havent updated this yet, either send me a message or just post the issue in this thread and I will get changed asap.
Also....I dont really consider this 'mine'. I organized it with pretty colors and such but the info is free for everyone to use so if you want to use this chart somewhere else all I ask for is credit and a link back to SVs site. Thanks.
Enjoy.

I originally tried assigning an appropriate color to each race but in looked downright nasty with colors all over the place. So I went with the color spectrum which created a much more harmonious visual presentation.

Very nice layout helps to read alot.
Intresting Kojan should be a very strange place to grow up. Goblins have no tanks. Wood elves only have inquistors assuming they make release. There are no clerics on this continent. SHould have alot of flavor anyway.

An excellent chart there! I was looking to make a third character to make up a trio of characters I really wanted to play (I've had many alts in my life but very few I've actually loved playing) and this chart really helped me to find one on Qalia, the continent I didn't have an alt on.
Dark Elf Necromancer in case anyone was wondering :)

Yeah I was thinking about something like this just today, Glad someone did it. Now all we need is Diplomacy class/race and will all Crafting be available to all races? (should be, but I dunno)
I expect diplomacy classes to have race restrictions, but we don't even know how many, or what the class types will be. I just hope they have all the classes in, and work on filling the sphere as the game grows.
Another addition to the chart could be racial attributes (if they exist).
Anyways nice goin!

Looks real nice. Kinda interesting that Qalia houses every class (as far as I can tell.) I'm glad. If I play a realm vs. realm type pvp server, I don't wanna be limited with what classes I group with. Regardless, I'll probably still have alts on each of the continents so I can experience it all :)

First of all, awesome chart. I didn't realize we had this information available, and that's a great way to display it.

Second, I'm really surprised they're having one continent with everything; I think Qalia is going to probably draw the most people to begin with (the stuff we've seen from there is just so awesome), and having every class there just gives people more incentive. I kind of figured there'd be a few classes missing - dread knight and druid, for instance - to keep it balanced.
I'm also surprised to see that the lesser giant can be a paladin - I figured they were a little too savage for that.

Did I read something wrong somewhere, or did Sigil take out the Berzerker class?
I hope it's all a bad dream, but I'm thinking not....

What about Race / Mount combinations?
Sure, Goblins or Wood Elves riding wolves, Humans on horses, etc. Those are understandable. But what about the poor kitten mount? Wouldn't a Vulmane have a hard time with it? Would Lesser Giants crush the little mounts? Perhaps most important, is how would a Gnome keep a Roc from eating him mid-flight!?
Goblin Shaman on a Warg mount /drool this game is so gonna get my jollies!

I actually wonder that the Inquisitor should not be available on Thestra... I really expected them to bully the innocent on a more or less mediaval continent :pirate:
Oh, I keep forgetting that there are no innocent...

Very nice chart btw .. makes it nice to cross reference stuff.
nice chart...
well for pvp-server reasons I would prefere that all classes would be playable by all three realms ... rather then some can not use certain classes - which can have serious implications on the "pve"-side of pvp-servers - like it was encountered in EQ1 on Vallon/Tallo Zek where evil side did not have access to bards or any tracking class(rangers/druids) - which where "extremly important" for raiding certain PVE-targets (and to a lesser extend not having Paladin "buffs") - while the Good side could play any class...
For a viable PVP-Realm balance I would prefer to see all classes spread out to all three realms.

From Dave Baldwin's employee spotlight it sounds like being a Necromancer or Dreadnight may be compatible with being a Kurashasa :)
(Only a maybe though, its just what it sounded like. ;))
Edit: The chart already said they could, so I guess this is just helping to affirm the chart's validity. :)

I was just reading a earlier post by miroman listed as berserker in the vanguard stating the zerkers could not be found by the interviewer. I assume no one has either confirm or denied the Zerkers will be there when it goes live but if silky has contacts to confirm the Zerker loss.

I'd imagine the devs were probably thinking it would be a cool idea for people to have to explore the world. Restricting some classes to particular continents (although currently, they all appear on Qalia) encourages people to travel.
My only complaint is that the current changes seem a bit arbitrary, rather than properly fitting lore or storyline. I'm sure they're to either balance the numbers, or maybe to encourage more beta testers to make characters of the type that are low in numbers.

Nah, from how I perceive it, it's based on culture. So for example Disciples and Monks (your martial healer and martial combatant) are typically Kojan, because the combatstyle is in tune with fighting styles of China/Japan - which is basically Kojan's atmosphere.
Other reasons for certain races to be able (or not able) to be a certain class may be lore related, and I just don't know if we (outside beta) have enough knowledge on what is really the lore behind the races.
Furthermore, (let's stick with the classes I just took as example) you wouldn't be dependant on finding that monk or disciple in your group and you may very well pick a ranger and a shaman instead. Each character within the same archetype should be able to fill well for another class in that archetype. So you don't have to travel to find a Cleric, if your continent doesn't have any. If your friend wants to specifically play a cleric and you specifically a class that is not nearby, then you will indeed have a bit of traveling to do. Unless you of course subscribe to the caravan, which should bring you two together in a fashion if I understand the system well.

Going to unsticky this. Consider the wiki (http://wiki.silkyvenom.com/index.php/Category:Adventuring_Classes) more up-to-date (and feel free to change it if it isn't).

Sorry for not doing so sooner but I completely forgot I had posted this and with the elimination of the 'official' site its a good thing I did ;)
