You know... I am really amazed we don't see countless threads complaining about the OVF going splat every few hours.

I had figured we'd see countless comments about, "oh come on wtf they kant even do forums withut lag, how r thy gonna make a game withut lag??!111!!!11???"

Bleh... I don't get why it must die every few hours. Seriously.

I doubt many of us even go to the OVF any more. I know I don't. If news comes up, it'll be reported here. IIRC, Brad said they don't really want an official forum to stay up, and he wanted us to migrate to fan sites.

For every second I waste hitting REfresh I could be reading fresh news HERE!

If anyone did come here and whine about the OVF being slow I'd tell them that it's going away anyway...why in the world should they sink resources into it /shrug.

The OVF went splat a long time ago. I haven't been back there in several months. Thank God they are getting shut down when the game goes live.

I read it very seldomly, unless its a dev post in a thread and im interested in it. I sometimes check the off topic about once a week for things im interested in, but there isnt much.

Last time I checked out the OVF was a month ago. VG Rangers Forum has been my escape.

Having a forum like that is good for my health. If it never 'went splat', I don't think I'd get off of it!
