Here's a game (http://slavehack.com/) that goes in a totally new direction - a virtual hack simulation game. The goal is to hack all of the other players while trying to avoid being hacked yourself

This one sure sounds different...

Yeah I have a game that's kinda like that. I think it's called "Hacker Elite". You basically pick up hacker jobs via a job bbs system, get files, change grades and other various hacker tasks and try not to get caught. To do this you route your hack through various other computer systems and nodes to buy you time. The better security systems can get you quicker so you have to be fast. You buy upgrades to your computer's hardware and add on new software components to help here too. Pretty fun, but rather unglamorous as far as games go.
