I wouldn't recommend 4x4 though; At least not for a few generations. I don't know if it was stated early on, but it seems that they are targeting FX core compatibility only. Even at 'under $1000' for the 2 cores and motherboard, that is still way into the high-end. I wouldn't consider recommending 4x4 until - cores can be non FX and sockets can be non-CPU items and there are various things to socket. So we are likely looking at the 2nd or 3rd generation of 4x4, probably around 2010. :p But yeah, the potential to have multi-whatever socketed and tweak performance to different builds (gaming, media, business, whatever) seems like a good deal, but looks like we won't see real results for years.

Pretty much Foz and I agree on most things, so there isn't really anything I'd recommend he wouldn't (now that I've conned him into 16:10, woot! :D )

Plus, it's all on my site. (Which is a touch more flexible than Foz's as I have reqs for each part, but I suppose that can also be a touch less conveniant as you don't have a 'buy all these parts in a package' dealie.)

Mmmmm nope. Can't think of anything Foz wouldn't recommend... save for peeps watching Who Wants to be a Superhero (http://www.scifi.com/superhero/). :D (First and Second episodes are on the site. Third episode this week.)
