Hail brave adventurers! We are The Order of Bal-Goth, and we are the latest guild to become part of the lands of Telon. We are a group of gamers and friends who were formed on May 30th, 2005 under the banner of The Order of Bal-Goth in another game realm. We have recently decided to expand our group under a multi-game platform to include the land of Telon and all the adventure it holds.

We were drawn to this realm from seeing all the innovative features being put into the designing of this game. We feel that with our focus on crafting and exploration/community building, that this game offers us the best chance of having what we are looking for in a MMO.

What are our goals and desires or the things that we are in search of you ask?

One thing that we are in search of...

Is a crafting system that is more than just the uninspired "click and craft" madness that we see in most MMO's today. We desire a system that is deep, well thought out, and gives us the chance to actually influence the realm with our skills as master craftsmen. We want a system where the artisan actually has merit and worth. A system where the artisan can acquire a high level of fame on his or her server for the time they have invested in their skills. A place where the master artisan is highly sought out and well respected, being a key part of the community.

Another thing we are in search of...

Is a MMO that gives us the ability to have personal housing, build a community and to interact with the realms inhabitants in a very real manner via established communities and buildings under our control. This will give us a base to operate from, a stage to create player driven content in, and a place to interact with the community on such a more tangible and real manner than other games who don't offer these types of settings and abilities.

We are sincere in our desire to establish a crafting community, one that will be renown and legendary for the quality and diversity of goods that we can produce and that we will sell on our merchants in this community. We are very serious in our desire to build this community to its highest level and with every option provided to us the players. We not only wish this community to excel from a crafting/merchant standpoint, but also in the future in the presence of PVP/RTS city options, we wish our community to be able to rise and defend itself, possibly also making war on our enemies as their weakness presents itself.

Adventure, plain and simple...

We seek a realm that is massive and full of places to explore. From one end to the other, we will seek adventure together. We are excited about the possibilities this realm presents with its huge world, and the efforts made to localize it into regions. By leaving out things like instant teleportation all over the realm at a seconds notice, and world wide chat channels (except for guild communication which is a must) we feel that this realm will lend itself more to the adventurer. Making his or her journey and exploration truly mean something. By instituting things like sea travel and caravans, we feel that this game will quench our thirsts for reasons and situations to adventure, giving us plenty of opportunity.

We seek to engage in PVE and PVP content. While not a requirement to be in the guild that one be a combatant, it is advised that one be versed in battle. You never know when the situation might arise that your city may need defending, or that a evil menace may need dispatching! We also hope to acquire a big enough member base to take part in any possible raid type scenarios that will present themselves so that we can experience everything this game has to offer.

We seek to have a variety of members that excel in many different aspects of the game...

We seek to not only have master artisans among our ranks, but we seek people who will become master level diplomats, master level adventurers and combatants in a PVE and PVP setting. We want explorers, sailors, raiders, harvesters. We want to be able to say that under the banner of The Order of Bal-Goth we represent the top tier of all the skills in game. That way no matter what effort we put our self towards we can rest assured knowing that our members have the skills and the abilities to see it done, no matter what the task! We are not exclusive to one race or just one class. We seek to become a melting pot of eventually all classes and races, thereby having the best representation of all the skills in the land of Telon.

Above all else however...

We desire to become a group of friends. A group who can adventure together in the lands of Telon, and enrich each others experience to the maximum. Together experiencing all that is offered, together overcoming all challenges, together becoming the best Telon has to offer!

If what I have described interests you then by all means come and visit us at our HOME (http://z11.invisionfree.com/Order_of_Bal_Goth/index.php) and register with us!

The more I read about the complexity and the depth of the crafting of houses, guild halls, boats, the more I am affirmed in my belief that this game is seriously attuned to guilds. If you are going to want to accomplish any of the major feats in this game it appears that your best chance is to get in with a good group. One that is knowledgeable, active, and where friendship has its worth. To be able to construct or do the higher level content you will need a good guild behind you.

I now reaffirm my call to all those who are really interested in the crafting sphere, to all those who have a love of this system. Join with us and together let us experience all this game has to offer. Together we can do all there is to do in this realm, see all that is to be seen.

We at the Order of Bal-Goth would like to take a moment to welcome and announce our latest member to the community. We have recently recruited a player named Stonewall. He hails from such classics as Asherons Call1, Asherons Call 2, EQ, EQ2, Dark Ages of Camelot, SWG, WOW, DDO, and Horizons. We are very proud to add him to the group indeed! :D

We are a group of people who are focused on crafting, but not willing to neglect the adventuring or diplomacy spheres. We plan to have an excellent time exploring and crafting together in Vanguard. With the latest addition of another solid crafter to our ranks our dream of having one of the most vibrant and exciting player ran communities becomes one step closer to a reality.

If you are a lover of the crafting game system, and you wish to find an experienced, but not big group of people to interact with in this realm, then come on down and see us at The Order of Bal-Goth! (http://z11.invisionfree.com/Order_of_Bal_Goth/index.php)

Last week at The Order was a excellent week for recruitment!

We have added one from the ranks of the Vanguard Spheres site regulars, one that is well known there for his ideas and his knowledge of the realm of Telon, Taronn Anvilmarr.

We are very gratefull that he has decided to join us in our quest to be one of the premiere guilds in the realm of Telon. We are one step closer to the mark with his addition to our team, welcome Taronn! :)

Wow we keep on going and the month of december has been kind to us in the recruiting arena. We have added 3 new members to our ranks, join with me in welcoming Shoboat, Deco Delance, and Glanthic Stormfist to the ranks!:D We are glad to see them join us and become part of the OBG family.

In guild news we have recently adopted our latest policy, it is our revised to fit the realm of Vanguard, Chain of Command. It documents all the positions that can be held within the guild and there respective duties and requirements for advancement. It is very detailed and with the help of the members I have refined it to be very all encompassing.

We now are deep in the editing of our crafters and resource gathering policy, good stuff I assure you.

If you are interested in a guild with a direction and a purpose and plan, then come and see us.:D

p.s. we are really interested in recruiting serious crafters, people that will spend most of their day consuming the crafting system, and we are also looking for a few good diplomats! We realize how important the sphere of diplomacy will be to a successful guild and we are looking for you. If you have a silver tongue and can sway the minds of a towns population to the side of the guild then come and see us for sure!:D

Greetings, I just wanted to check in and see how things in your guild are going. I noticed that the last time I visited your site it had moved and you have renamed to The Eastwatch Trading Co. I posted there on your forums requesting an alliance with my guild: Calenathrim Merc & Mercantile. Now the site seems to be down or I saved the link to my favs wrong.

Anyway I hope the best for thee and look forward to seeing you ingame.
