I think it would be a good idea to start an ongoing thread here where we can post good deals on PC components. Any suggestions from combo deals to huge savings is good. Anything that can get you the same performance for the lowest amount of cash possible. Personal reviews would be good as well. ;)
I'll start it off...
Power supply: Want a good power supply that will support the next generation of graphics cards? Here's a 600W power supply, with 2 12v rails (12v1 = 18a; 12v2 = 20a), and a 3 year warranty for only $60. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=1273340&sku=ULT31847&srccode=nvda
I purchased one myself a little while ago and I'm waiting to put in my computer so I can upgrade my 500w PSU (and give it to my brother). I can't say exactly how well, or quiet it runs --however, all the reviews on Tiger Direct are good-- but I can say that I found the offer on nVidia's website so it can't be bad for nVidia to advertise it.
8800GTS: Here's an 8800GTS from MSI with a $15 off instant rebate. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814127225
I have not purchased an 8800GTS but I do own a 7600GT from MSI and I can say that they take pride in their graphics cards. My 7600GT (factory OC) runs at 45C under load. But I digress, I definitely recommend purchasing from MSI. It's also currently the cheapest 8800GTS :D
CPU Heat sink and Fan: Here's a CPU heat sink and fan from Zalman for about $40. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835118223 Normally the price is $20.00 more but there's an instant rebate on this one. I don't own this product either, but I have read that Zalman is a great brand for heatsinks and fans.
That's it for me so far.
