PlayNC or SOE

With the Dungonrunner topic I got to thinking(no I don't do it that often). If you were to develop an MMO, and had the choice between PlayNC and SOE as your publisher who would you go with?

Me personally, I would go with PlayNC. My personal experience as far as costumers support PlayNC has been better.

That is just my opinion, what about the rest of you?

PlayNC has a higher focus in the 'Asian market' than SOE.

I'd probably go with the 800lb gorilla that is SOE.

Odd topic though.

I’m sure lots more ‘game hubs’ will appear in the future. Funny to see people basically copying what Sierra did with the Imagination Network circa 1992. :p

Personally, I scorn SOE for ruining Star Wars Galaxies. I was a big Star Wars trilogy fan(well there's 6 now...), and as such I loved SWG. Oh how I do miss that game..............

Well.... I love the games PlayNC has published, and I've never had a problem with their service, so of course I would pick them over SOE.

I just hope Sony lets Sigil handle things pertaining to VG updates/content-- I don't trust Sony's judgement as far as I can throw them :mad:

More than that. Even before the prequils there was the specials and guest apperances on thins like the Muppet Show. In addition to the prequils there are also the Clone Wars, the impending re-done Clone Wars (in computer animiation) and the rumored TV series.

Not to mention comix, books or radio shows. :rolleyes:

NC need to sort out an all you can eat plan, lots of good games but no are worth a subscription. I'd pay $20 a month to have access to all of the goodies they offer.

I'm talking about the movies man. I only really follow the movies... although I used to draw sweet pictures of the Death Star and TIE Fighters with these awesome books I had when I was a wee lad hehehe :D

NC for me :) Never had any problems with them. I even ordered GW online and got a pre-order box! SOE's pre-order isn't even coming close to going that smoothly :p

As above SOE, in most cases, are not the ones making the game. I'd put bets the problems with whatever pre-order you are referring to is more related to said game and said game designers than SOE as a distributing agent.
