OK AFAIK the DE (is that to many capitol letters to start a thread with?) on Telon are from an underground empire that has recently surfaced. They believe themselves to be better than all the other races. They aren't necessarily evil, just stuck up. Isn't stuck up and a belief that they are better than all the other races typically reserved for HEs? Do we know any lore about HEs in Telon? Just curious and all. Thanks.

I believe there is some mention of them in the lore - for instance, high elves and Vulmani are natural enemies - that type of thing. Check out the lore, or better still, wait for Nep's Dictionary, coming soon to an SV page near you! :D

Well, in my opinion, Dark Elves can have an immoderate ego as well :)
It's true we know a few about the High Elves of Leth Nurae. They helped the human/halfling alliance in the past, they rebuild a part of Leth Nurae and obviously, they are very suspicious about the Vulmani who lived in the east of their city. Indeed, they were former enemies.
They might be a little more tolerant than the Dark Elves.

You must take a look at all the first lore excerpts...

Actually, I think the Dark Elves are the first race so precisely described by Sigil...

About this Nep's Dictionnay... I have a question ! WHEN ???? :)

They didnt just surface, they fled! Elementals forced them from their homes beneath the ground. So not only do they have to suffer the humans, but they must also seek aid and shelter from the humans till they get back on their feet! Talk about shame!

Old lore snippets suggest that the High Elf hatred of the Vulmane might have something to do with them moving as they please, raiding and scavenging off Elvish lands. Perhaps the vulmane has, in the past, attack elvish settlements? The hatred is certainly strong enough to suggest some great attrocity occured as some point.

But no one has addressed this question:
They aren't necessarily evil, just stuck up. Isn't stuck up and a belief that they are better than all the other races typically reserved for HEs?

In a recent lore snippet, the one in which we learnt of the Dark Elf retreat from the elemental invaders of their city, a young dark elf child made comments about the filthy stinking humans they had to live with now they were surface dwellers. I don't think that Dark Elves are stuck up - I think you are right in that this is how you might describe the high elves - I think the Dark Elves just have a superiority complex. They have lived apart from the other sentient races for so long that they cannot relate to them.

I think that they definitely are not evil. They are just not on the same wavelength, or striving for the same goals, as the surface dwelling races.
