PVP'ability?

How do you guys think Clerics can do in a PvP environment? They seem as if they will be able to outlast quite a few of the other classes.

The combat etc seems pretty good. Also, Im going to be a dwarf, so thats a plus. :)

The other preists do better DPS than Clerics do. /shrug


Also unless things are changed, anybody with Levi and a Nuke can get themselves floating like 20M over your head and nuke you without fear of retaliation.


Melees have no business trying to PVP a preist, but I don't see Clerics being PVP kings.

I'm hoping the pwnsauce will be Shaman myself, but I've probably got the wrong game for that O_o

For what it's worth, any class that has heavy armor and the ability to heal won't be any PVP knockover though.

No, clerics will not fare well in pvp. As mentioned before, they will be able to dispatch heavy tanks and a few other classes, but they will be made a fool out of by casters as things currently stand.


and I wouldnt expect to see that many heavy tanks walking around alone on a pvp server.

I havent PvP'd with a cleric in a while, but in beta 3 I was abusing people including bards and casters. Granted at the time Aegis of Blades had no range limit, but with root, anathema, AoB, heals, ward, heavy armor and melee stun they are not easy targets.

Clerics will be tough in pvp. None of the healers will be easy to take down 1 v 1 - unless you find one that's afk.
