I know that virtue for paladins regenerates slowly (very slowly) and I also know there are ways to generate virtue through the use of specific abilities in specific circumstances. Does anyone have any advice or strategies for exploiting these?

Using a rescue while low on HP > Shield of Glorienn (or whatever was that 4 second invincible ability) > Healing Touch comes to mind, although not terribly reliable with only a 4 second window for you to get a heal

I wish there were more ways to gain and use Virtue... right now in my oppinion, the virtue aspect of Paladins just plain blows.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and not to mention that there is no way in hell that I will let my health go below 20% on purpose while in a group fighting 4+ dot mobs as the main tank... what is that all about... seriously, feel like getting killed much lol?

It's pretty lame. It sounds cool and all to "save the cleric, save the world" but in reality if the tank dies you're just as likely to be screwed than if the healer died.

Well thats why you get virtue because it takes a saint to play it that way..or a fool! ;)

I agree that there needs to be additional ways to regen virtue. That or you'll have to have plug and play Paladins standing by with full virtue points so when one is out you replace him like a burned out lightbulb! :P
