which defensive class for PVP?

i am primarily a pvper, i am not interested in tanking, i like to wear plate..

i cannot decide if i want to be a drk pl or war, or what race, i would preferably like to be from thestra but not a halfling

IMO, Dreadknight makes by far and away the best PvP tank. They simply get the most offensive abilities of the three tank classes. Paladins will be able to last many opponents with their high mitigation (which all tanks have) and heals / buffs, but their DPS is low, making it difficult for them to kill a lot of classes. The Warrior, similarly, is more restricted to PvE in that his abilities seem to center around increasing his general DPS and hate production. Don't get me wrong: DPS is great for PvP, but DRK DPS spikes immensely at DC5, and their debuffs are pretty brutal.
