View Full Version : Bug: Level 0 Unknown Class (How widespread?)

Hello folks,

There are a number of people in my guild who are seen in the "/who all" as "Level 0 Unknown Class". These same people, even though in the guild list for others, see the message saying "You do not belong to a guild." And the other people always see their guild listing as offline.

The common thread for these characters is that they were the first characters created yesterday as the servers were coming online.

My question is how wide spread this problem is and has anyone been able to communicate the problem to Sigil? We've been bugging and petitioning with zero response.

That happened during beta when the Social server went down. Probably the same now. Not sure about the level 0 though.

This time it is a permanent state for these characters.

My character has this problem, even after relogging all the way from the desktop. Interesting that you mentioned you see it with some of the earlier characters that were created. When I first tried to create my character, I had some issues with moving on from the server select screen. At one point, after I could get past that, my character name was rejected as already existing. That really surprised me, but I went ahead and used a different name. Once I was finished, I saw that I actually had two characters, one with my original name and one with the new one. So I guess there was just some lag in showing what I had accomplished before and my first character creation attempt had actually worked. (Aziza Darmai on Florendyl is my character who is showing as level 0 unknown, in case any devs are looking).

Saw this with a few of our guildmates that created characters pretty much as soon as Hilsbury was available. Unable to talk in /gu, /who reporting level 0.

Happened with my first character - but it became apparant that something was awry pretty soon (as I was trying to create a guild with him) so I deleted and re-rolled (he was only level 5) and everything has been peachy since.

Not seen the issue at all with characters created by people today - only the initial few from yesterday.

I had this problem for a little while but after relogging a few times it cleared up. I believe its just a issue with the social server being flakey

No, that is not the case. It's a permanent condition for these characters.

A couple characters on Hilsbury with this problem are "Drox" and "Sidda" to name just two.

You asked how widespread and I explained I had the problem for a little while and it cleared up. It very well could be a issue with the social server on that server. We had issues yesterday where people had to relog 10 times before we could invite them to the guild.

The people that where affected by this would go to there friends list and it would be empty even though they had multitudes of friends added and when someone tried to invite them to the guild they got the message of player not found. I experienced this issue myself. I would suggest petitioning it ingame and see if there working on a fix for it because it did clear up eventualy on Shidreth so it might also for your server.

Just trying to be helpfull .

Hopefully the patch they are doing today will fix this issue along with the inability to defensively target anyone for buffs/heals.
