OK, I can understand why they want people to specialize in certain harvesting skills. I chose Quarrying (primary) and Mining (secondary).

But I can't understand why I am not allowed to skin an animal, chop down a tree, or pick fruit from a bush - even if I have the correct tools. It's not very realistic, and doesn't make sense.

I like the idea of specialization, but we should at least be able to harvest other materials on a basic level. Maybe limit the skill to 50 max on those that aren't your primary or secondary. That would be more realistic.

You can harvest the other materials as long as someone that knows how to do it starts.

Groupmate knows how to Skin. You have the skinning knife. Both players can skin the animal and double the rate at which you get material. If you had 6 players with skinning knives, as long as one has the skill to skin you can boost the rate by 6 times!

I like that solo you cant harvest everything, i mean why do you need the rest of the stuff? doesnt do you any good.

My plan for this is to have 3 characters all of which will specialize in different harvesting. This should suit all of their crafting needs while I will be able to sell the extra materials my crafting does not need.
