Question about optimal way to level crafting

I have a question regarding leveling my crafter. I know you progress via work orders and the higher quality the item the more exp and rewards you receive.

I was leveling my outfitter via easy work orders with grade A items and it still seemed like it took forever to get a level. (from level 3 to level 4).

My question is which type of work order gives the most bang for the buck? Should I be doing moderately difficult work orders shooting for grade B? Will this progress me faster than the easy work orders?

I read awhile back that doing moderate difficulty work orders to grade C is the fastest way to level. I haven't done the math personally, but it seems about right. Of course that was during beta and all things change, but it still feels right.

To get the most Xp you will end up getting the least amount of gold and special items and its going to cost.

First make every single recipe you have once as these recipes give more xp than a work order. Can only get xp bonus one time per recipe tho.

Than do WO moderate - difficult that are hopefully 1 item things. if you run out of 1s go to 3s. Make C quality on difficult and B quality (or C if your finding it to be hard to get to B).

Everytime you level grab some low moderate quests so you can gain skills than make your new recipes, than do the difficults. Rinse and repeat.

I will concurr on the grind.VERY SLOW ADVANCEMENT with easy level. I am currently level 5 and the newness has definately worn off. I think part of the problem is that at the lower crafting levels we cannot make and sell anything..just grind.Easy is easy but minimal exp...and moderate not easy to do..I have been trying for B quality...going to settle for C and see if I get better exp and accomplish it .

I suggestion I will make is keep both your refineing and finishing skills up to max, youll notice that refineing complications uses finishing skills to counter and vise versa, it will make dealing with complications a lot easier.

Yes definitely switch off between the two to keep from getting your skills too one sided which will make getting them back up very painful with lots of failures.

Defintely stop each time you level to craft your recipes once (and at this time I can't see a way to know if you have crafted them before you start so You'll have to keep track yourself) You get very good XP for those recipe compared to the work orders but of course you get no cash for them unelss you can sell them on the market.

I can defintely see where crafting moderate items at C 1x work orders would be probably the fastest to level. But you get very little reward for it. Though frankly I'm not sure what to do with my inventory issues due to crafting "rewards" and which of them I'll be able to use later vs needing to get rid of.

So far I'm mid-8 the fun thing is that so far in 8 levels I've made 5-6 items that either myself of my guildmates could use at our current adventure level..so it feels worthwhile.

I cant say with absolute certainty, but I tried this and compared to other methods I have tried this SEEMED to give the best exp, jut by watching the exp bar move on turn in. I have tried just about every combo you can think of. Now, I have pretty much settled on doing moderate to grade C after doing my new recipes once. It takes a bit longer, but I am doing the 5 set work orders just so I can get the nice reward along with the good exp.

I'm a level 15 blacksmith now and the leveling speed has varied quite a bit. At one point the single and triple WOs were giving the most XP because the individual items weren't giving much at all. Now it seems that the batch (five item) WOs are giving me more because the bulk of the XP is coming from the items. The thing is, always going with one type or another will cause that type to run out. So if you always do batches you're eventually going to get stuck doing a set or a single anyways.

One thing I will say is that sticking to moderate difficulty has always seemed to work the best for leveling up. Sure, easy will give you better items, but the items you will get usually aren't very good at low level anyway, so I'd say just try to get through the first 10 as fast as possible.
