So I've seen a few 18 druids already. :D

I have a question for you guys - when in wolf form:
1) Do you retain the wolf form in combat or does it toggle off when engaged?
2) I understand this has a 30min duration?
3) Can you conceivably stay a wolf the entire time if you refresh the spell as needed?
4) Are there any combat penalties or effect other than speed buff and form change?

Thanks!

Allows you to take the form of a wolf. While you are a wolf you will be given 15% melee haste, 44 strength, 44 dexterity, and 50% increased movement.

I see no downside :)

Heh, me either. Thanks... any insight on the other aspects? Mainly, do you stay in wolf form until the buff wears off? Or do you revert to your real form while in combat?

I really cant say, my druid isnt 18 yet, however in beta I could cast all my spells while in wolf form, which was very nice. But that was a while ago, and things change.

Noted, thanks again!

You stay in wolf form while in combat. Later on you get a wonder called 'wolf pack(?)' that allows you to turn your whole group into wolves as well. Really there is no reason why you would ever not want to be in wolf form.

Well, the howling during casting becomes fairly annoying..

Thats for sure. Group wolf form during the bump to 30 events drove me insane!

I posted this on the Druid's Grove but...hey I will here too. I love the white wolf.
I would stay in Wolf form 100% of the time (cause you can) if it wasn't for the howling. I howl on every buff cast, 4 per person. I howl on every 4 spells (I think that is what the devs changed it to) But, I also howl on melee attacks.
I know I can turn my volume down, but others complain...I don't care myself all that much.

Yeah, the howling blows, and I really wish we looked like the wolves in the Jin'Ka forest, b/c they look scary :yell: :yell:

I wish they would make it like it was in EQ where you bark during melee and howl when you have sat for awhile without moving , and also welp or whatever the correct word is when taking damage. I don't think there should be any howling or barking while spell casting.
