After 1/30 patch lock up at char select screen

Good morning everyone,

Anyone else having this problem? After the recent patch when I get to the character select screen it hard locks on me. The character model doesnt finish loading or anything.

It was working fine yesterday evening before the patch.

Not quite the same but I can't log in my prestart character as of this evening. Gets to character select screen then when hit play just getting message 'Logging in Assynt' then it does nothing. Managed to create a new character on the same server but still no joy with my main.

Thanks for the reply, but I felt kind of sheepish once I figured out what the problem was.

My post is here on the boards, I upgraded my video card over the weekend and had a bit of a problem getting things rolling. But I did eventually get things working.

The symptoms were similar to what I described above so I freaked, but after a little poking around I found that it was my firewall that was causing the problem. I disabled my firewall and I was right back in the game. So it wasnt so bad.
