Information brokers

I just got to lvl 50 diplo. During that time i gathered some bits of blackmail. I know you can get items for them if you turn them in to an information broker. I found some information brokers(even blackmail) but they wont give me any options to turn stuff in. They just say that if i have some interesting info we could work something out.
How do i get them to accept my pieces of info? (i got 9 of one of the blackmail kinds)

Ok i need some help here. No one in game has been able to help me out.

I ground up diplo to lvl 135 night before the patch to fix brokers (now informants). That night i had spoken to a GM and he told me i needed stacks of 10 to trade in to the new informants.

Well here is my problem......First my ethnical diplo trainer will not train me.

Second which is now becoming a huge issue (because i have no room in my inventory what so ever), i have stacks of 20; Unequalled Evidence of Arcana, Unequalled rumors of blackmail, and atm can't even thank of the rest but in any case i can not get any informant to give me trade in dialoge they keep saying i do not have enough. I know for a fact that i have 10 or more in each stack for each type of info be it arcana, plots, trends or blackmail...


PLEASE SOME ONE HELP ME.

I dont think the higher level item are even in the game yet. Chance are you took advantage of high skill 300 plus NPC that coudnt win if they want and recieved the higher level information cards and will have to hang on to them for a bit.

My civic trainer was buggy also so I will be no help there.

On a side note I think they should strip all the high level diplo item from everyone and replace them with significant or such as the NPC with 300 plus skill shoudnt have been beatable by playing 2 card and listening for 14 hands.

Well i know what you are referning to (gossip "cheat") but honestly i didn't do that i actually went around and tried several NPCs and formulated a strategy off of two different nobles in Leth Nurae palace. Believe me it took alot of time and i lost a lot of faction before i came up with the strategy. Furthermore my strategy still works and i can still beat lvl 400 nobles. And without having the additional 6th card slot at 100 i would not be able to beat them then or now.

Each Type has different Tiers awarded determined by the Dip skill of opponent:
(This is listed in the Infomation's description -- Each Tier share the same Icon)
Crude <= 100
Significant 125 - 200
Essential 225 - 300
Vital 325 - 400
Unequalled 425 - 500


You issue is you were parleying 425-500 skill NPCs. You should not have been able to. As is evident in the new change today to prevent people from doing so. You can no longer Parley with an NPC that has a skill of 50+ You need 51 to parley a 100 skilled NPC now.

That being send the only information you can turn in now is Crude and Significant. NPC skill 0-100 drop crude. 125-200 Significant.

On a side note, the only items received for beating any NPC over the significant levels were higher level info, no gear, since the high level info can not even be turned in at this point.

Read the post I made about Information and Informants, linked in this thread. Also you can not turn in ANY info that is not CRUDE or SIGNIFICANT. The level of the information is in the description of the info not in the name.

I ment they should take the infomation that was given out and replace them with significants really. I know there isnt any gear out right now because you cannt turn the information in, but when they do put the gear in there will be lot of folks in the 75-150 range that have gear off 400 plus NPC if they dont fix it first.
