I can't find the dread knight defensive stance quest for my orc dread knight. Any idea where to look?

I should add that I am 9th level, so I should be able to get the quest.

What quest is that?
You hit level 10, you get the stance added to your bar automatically.

I thought we had to do a quest, just as the warriors do.

Well, what can I say. Armor Of Darkness popped up all on its own the instant I dinged 10.
Not that it matters, since it currently doesn't work. No mitigation boost. No aggro generation boost.

how do you know?
It lowers DMG for sure...

It doesn't lower damage, but you lose the added damage from Ebon Blade.
It does nothing right now. Open your char screen, look at your armor class and defense mitigation totals. Now turn on the Armor. Look at them again. Note how they do not change.
Others have tested by letting themselves get hit by mobs, and the damage does not change whether the ability is active or not.

what about aggro generation?

Not sure which aspect of "It does nothing" left any room for interpretation, but ok:
It does not boost aggro generation.
It does NOTHING.

Either I'm crazy or it DID boost aggro generation, I was in Vault of Heros, and with it off it was hard to get the monsters off the warrior, with it on it was much easier. I could be wrong and of just perceived it to be working, but it sure did seem like it.

i can assure you that the mitigation does not work try getting attacked by any mob and note the damage your taking in Ebon blade than switch to armor of darkness, ull be taking the same amount of damage. Also u only lose 10% offensive power (from not having ebon blade on). So since Mitigation and weapon damage pentalty dont work it would be safe to assum that hate genration doesnt either.

The defensive stance was automaticly added to my UI, and it does indeed boost mitigation

It's a good thing I read this thread. I just started a re-roll as a DK because I was so frustrated with having 0% mitigation in offensive stance as a warrior. I guess the fact that this isn't all over the forums is either an indication of how few defensive fighters there are or a statement about how much more there is to do than combat in this game. Either way, it's really starting to frustrate me. Multiple patches and still no mention of it. I already tested warrior offensive stance again this morning (as I do every patch) and it hasn't been fixed. I doubt the DK problem was either.

Defensive stance does NOT boost your DPS.

Hah!!! I meant mitigation :D

How did you confirm that it boosts mitigation? Does it display properly now, or does it not display but you have emperical data to show that mitigation is increased? I only ask because the warrior offensive stance mitigation is still not fixed. I have a base mitigation from AC of around 18%. In offensive stance this should be .8 x 18%, but it's 0%. It's easy to prove empirically, (and I've done so in another thread).

No I havent done any empiracal tests on it (I.E. parsing), but it seems as though it does. I am on the forums when I am doing other stuff on the computer like work or making dinner, I play the game whenI want to play, and do stuff whenI want to do things like go out. I honestly don't have the time, nor do I have the inclination to parse things out as many people do.

Then please don't make comments to the contrary of people who HAVE done the parsing.
Armor Of Darkness is completely non-functional at this time.
Actually, it is less than non-functional, since you are losing the benefits of Ebon Blade while it is active.

Didn't you guys read his post that's conclusive evidence right there. Question answered.
