Anyone have a healing bug were you cast your spells but your targets health doesnt go up.

Last night it happened to my group about three time in and around the bugbears cave that is located near themswar shield in thestra. We had two healers me a bloodmage and a disciple along with a druid and on seperate occassions we would be mid fight and the tanks health would drop with no noticeable heals happening. We were on teamspeak together so we were able to tell each other we were healing and nothing was happening.

Anyways we ended up outside killing some mobs up top of the mountain when it happened again.

I did /bug it but was wondering if anyone else had this experience yet?

Its important to note what debuffs your heal recipient has on them. While I can not speak specifically for the bugbears in Thestra, I do know that there are mobs on Kojan that debuff to reduce incoming heals. The Fujitaru (spelling on them? I dunno...) mobs in the Ra'Jin Stronghold are one example, reducing healing to 0%.

I have seen the same things. Another shaman and I were doing some exploring and tried to do a quest in the achatalan(sp) cave. For around 5 deathes each we were baffled that our heals were not working. We then discovered that when the mob cast Bedazzling haze(think that was the name) we could not heal at all. Once that the debuff was gone we could heal again.

On a side note. It was one of the most exciting times that I have had in a while. The mobs are lvl 15 and 16 we were lvl 13. They were 3 dot mobs and hit like a ton of bricks. We would take turns tanking it while the other dotted and healed. Once the debuff was on we pulled a Benny hill and ran in circles until the buff was off. Though it was not the fastest or most productive Exp'ing I have ever had it was one of the most fun.

This will make exploring a little more dangerous, but figuring out events and encounters I think is one of the best things about these games.

same thing happened to me a few days ago.. We both ended up dying cause I just couldn't get any heals off.

Good point on the debuffs, I didn't even check if there were any. I'll have to pay attention next time.

The bugbears (Diggers I think) have a healing debuff. The problem is that it can stack on itself reducing healing to zero. Personally, I feel that allowing it to stack to zero is a bug AND the combat log showing you healing for 700 or whatever instead of zero is also a bug. So yes, I think it is a bug, but not directly a healing bug, a debuff bug.

The oddest healing bug i have seen so far is one when I used my self-healing
and keep getting the message target is out of range.

Ran into this tonight. /bugged it....didn't think to check the debuffs. Thanks for the heads up.

Happened constantly tonight in KE. Interestingly, the initial heal of alleviate before the HoT worked fine. No other heal would stick on the tank though.

Everyone needs to read this! I remember this from playing Khegor's End in beta as well. Its not a healing bug, its a crappy and probably overpowered debuff from NPCs.
