I've got exactly the same thing except a C2D 6600, and I have had tons of problems with the game running smoothly. I've had stuttering and weird flashes of lights and a strange shiny animation on the ground when I run around. I wish you better luck than myself. :)

You should be totally fine.

However, remember to test and gauge your system with things that are not Vanguard before judging your system. VG is a total resource hog and many peeps lately have been only looking at VG and thinking their PC suX0rz.

If you have any problems we can bump this thread into Foz's hardware and get ya straightened out. :)

Sounds like your game settings need some tweaking (and maybe your video driver is causing some issues). Make sure you have AA and AF turned off in the driver (set them to application controlled) and make sure AF (anisotropic filtering) is disabled in the ingame settings. Make sure hardware occlusion is UNchecked in the ingame settings. Try turning off HDR and tone mapping and bloom if you have those on (just to see if it helps).

If you have installed a video driver and then installed another one on top, that could be part of the issue. Make sure you fully uninstall any older driver before installing the most up to date one. Using a program like Driver Cleaner Pro in safe mode will get rid of leftover driver files and allow for a clean install of the new ones.
