I already posted about this in the general... but apparantly harvested items (just, cotton, ore, etc.) is now soulbound... Meaning you cannot give it to other people and crafters must supply all of their own mats.

I know this is true for tier 1 (or at least copper), but what about tier 2 and above? I know I was able to get a bunch of tin from a friend yesterday...was it just old tin and not yet soulbound, or is it confirmed all tiers harvest soulbound now?

::shrug:: don't know the wife called when she went to ship some ore (admitedly copper) to a guildy so he could make some weapons for some lowbies coming up in the ranks. I had given tin yesterday as well, but I could almost swear I transferred Copper Ore yesterday too and it worked fine. I would have her check tin but she is just now leaving BC to go harvesting at 3 rivers for it.

This is a known issue and should be fixed in an upcoming patch.

It wasn't intentional. The bug also affected coin rewards on workorders
among other things.

I noticed that..lol..Funniest thing I ever seen, my copper was soulbound. Well that'll take care of those gold-farmers now wont it?...:D

hope it gets fixed soon , I turned off my no-drop warning because of it :rolleyes:

Friend of mine tried to hand me some jute bales. They were soulbound.

he just converted em into jute sheafs (20 per bale) and handed em that way.. lol.

I reconverted back to bales.. . voila!

Dunno if its still the same today or not.
