Just point of info in case someone else experiences it. I was traveling by ship from Towar Galan to New Targanor <spelling). After going through that mid-ocean gate (what ever it is) and once on the other side. After a few minute before getting to New Targanor I found myself in the ocean and dead. I respawned outside New Targanor, but had to summon my things for a loss.
I was standing in the middle of the boat and stationary, so it was not a matter of walking off the edge or anything like that.
I did do a /bug on it.
Has anyone else experienced this?
