Hi there,

apologies if this has already been tackled or answered in another thread. I see that in the Devs Post there is a referral to a "Diplomacy Horse" I'm level 76 in diplomacy (dark elf) and haven't seen or heard of this horse until now, any ideas where or how I can get one?

Thanks

Just follow the Beginners Diplomat Questline and you will find out ;)
You should get this quest at your local Diplomacy Trainer.

thanks, but I've done all those quests. I did have quest where I was asked to return a horse, but there was no horse to return! I didnt get given one by the quest vendor and there was no horse around him, was that a bug or was I supposed to do something differently?

I don't know how it specifically works for Dark Elves, but I've done the human/halfling one and the gnome one, and in both of these one NPC gives you the quest with a 20:00 minute time limit, the first step is usually parlay with someone about a horse, win that and they give you the horse (which goes into your inventory, not visible around you, you equip it on your mount character stuff), ride the horse some distance, win a parlay with someone else and complete the timed quest. This person will send you to someone, who sends you to someone(s), that gives you a horse as a reward.

Did you maybe get the horse and not realize it was in your inventory, and then let the 20:00 timer run out?

Are you Level 10 Adventurer or Crafter ?

In the gnome quest line there was first a quest with a 20 minute mission timer and that quest loaned you a horse which was taken back at the end of the quest.

Then, after you completed that quest, there was another quest with a 40 minute timer, and the mission reward for that was the horse.

The second mission was given out by an entirely different NPC that you were pointed towards at the end of the first mission.

So maybe you have just got to go start the second mission.

I'm not sure if this is how DE works, or any other races work for that matter.

Thing is you have to be level 10. Its possible to do part of the quest line that contains the horse, but if you aren't 10 it'll look like there's nothing more.

As a Varashasa Diplomat, I had to go to do a quest line that also had said timer on it, like a couple of the others. At the end of this line (I was level 6) there was a specific note in the Dialogue that said I should return at Level 10 for the secondary quest if i remember correctly.
Keep an eye open for this...

Ahhh ok, I wasn't lvl 10, so I guess when I hit lvl 10 I should head back to the horse tracks?

Yes, once you hit level 10 the quest will open up for you.

Raise your faction above 500 with them. Do so by killing whatever they dislike.

Surely this has to be a bug. You'd have to kill 500 things they dislike if I'm not mistaken. I /bugged it myself. It was a disappointing end to this quest line especially since this phase is timed and I ran through the first part a couple of times before I realized I couldn't finish it. Bleh.
