Diplomacy to me seems like 80% picking the cards and 20% playing them.

So do you just parley with an NPC and lose until you find out what cards they are going to play and then make the right deck to beat them?

Then what? Play the same NPC over and over again to make up your losses and get some gains?

Actually, you find 2-3 others that are also playing the same deck, and rotate between them to grind skill. So, er, yea, the key really is in building the deck.

Look at a strategy, are you going to beat down, deney colors, etc. Atm, they really play one deck, and usually the same card combos, so you can really plan how many colors you will have on any given turn.

That being said, I can't wait for an AI update. :)
