Civic Diplomat Tutorial: introduction(Dark elf)

How the hell do i complete this? the trainer dont tell anything at all, and the other tutorial is impossible since i only got 2 presence with soldiers / 1 with crafters... and im pretty sure ive completed the newbie quests since i cant get any others

In the Tursh tut you were given clothing that gave you the appropriate presence to parley. Maybe thats whats missing?

Even with the linen shirt - where the heck do you find guards/crafters to beat at that level? Lowest I could find was 75 - I managed to win once choosing incite since she had ridiculous cards for green. Otherwise there was no way with what I had. Not to mention I needed to use cards given through diplomacy buffs.

Where are the guard/crafters that you can talk to to actually finish an Introduction Tutorial quest?

Without destroying your faction and hoping to win by random chance that is.

I'm trying to do the Dark Elf civic diplo tut as well. It's simply impossible. The lowest skill of any guard is 75. My skill after the newbie quest up to getting the horse is 47~

I was trying to do some Goblin civic stuff today, after completing the newbie line some days ago.

I was terribly thumped, and I could also not find anyone with skill less than 75. What was worse was that the opposition's cards seemed way better than mine. It sure was a sharp increase in difficulty once the happy newbie line days were over.

I dabbled quite a bit with the newbieish stuff and some early civic things in beta, and things were a lot easier back then (the civic stuff, anyways). Right now the start of my civic career was way too hard. At least I should manage the civic tutorial. I will try at it again when inspiration returns, though.

Didi you try the guards on the wall near Hathor Zhi? I havn't looked myself yet but I was told there are guards on the wall with a skill of 50.

I'm at skill lvl 47 as well, right up to the horse quest which I couldnt do because I wasnt lvl 10 yet. I cant even try to parley with anyone in a town, skill lvl too low, and I dont know where to find anyone that I can parley with to raise it... really blows cause I was loving diplomecy until I hit this brickwall...

Same here, only im in CB. Dip level 47, and up until I started Civil Dip, had 300 prestige. Best I can find is a level 50 npc. So far I've lost 30 faction. I have no clue what to do from this point foreward.

The civil diplomacy instructor lies - you can get hersay from blackmail from any type of person not just soldiers or crafters. Interviews and gossip gets you hersay for blackmail sometimes.

As to level up find 3 diffrent parleys (can be same guy as long as its 3 diffrent type of parleys aka interview, entrertain, incite etc) that you can beat 80-90% of the time. Note trying to find these guys will net you large decrease in repuation. After you find them circle around and defeat them over and over and over again. now your making information to get better clothing to do the diplomacy missions which require like 50 of one type of presence and diplo skill level.

Note: the same NPC will alwalys have the same deck no matter what parley type you do, so if you see someone using a lot of flattery (yellow) choose incite and he will have his deck cut in half.
