What is that ranging in c?
Anything below about 80c on a GPU is fine. Most range around 55c-65c, some get upwards to 75c under load. The series 8 is a touch higher than most GPUs when idle, but peaks around the same 65-70c under load.

It's 51.1c - perfectly normal.

WOW that is great compared to BFG 7950gt's they run at 62 to 67 idle and almost 90c at full load. heh. my guess is the 7950gt coolerBFG puts on isn't to good.

I have hit in the low 90's (c) with my GX2. I almost had a heart attack the first time I saw that but have learned to live with it...the slowdown threshold is 120c so I dont worry too much.

Heh, see my above post. My GX2 does that also. EVGA make. Worst I have seen was playing Company Of Heroes....93c was my record.

I tested it the other night and the card after about 4 hours of vanguard was running around 56 degrees C. Heh maybe i got lucky and have a cool running card i dont know.I also have not overclocked it.I would if i understood overclocking hehe.By the way the computer is a Fozzik/Rabbit build..I went with parts from fozziks $1500 build and some email advice from Rabbit as well.It was my first build and came out perfect knock on wood :) Also the card is the EVGA 8800 gts...all i can say is best money ive ever spent on a card.

Well the GX2 I can see. It is two 7900's strapped together on one card that is a ton of processing power.
my guess is any of the higher oc version of the 7900's run hot.
