Have you actually acquired one since launch? I was curious whether they had deleted this quest because the NPC didn't have it anymore.

During beta there was an NPC near the Bank of Khal who would give you a quest to find 10 pages of Morfare. It was supposed to be a book of great power that was torn apart and scattered all over Telon. If you got all the pages together you got access to the magic in the book. AFAIK no one ever completed that quest. There was a player shouting for 2 pages before beta closed but I never heard of a success.

Based on the description it sounded like some sort of summoning magic. It never told you what the exact reward was though.

I'd say bank it but be prepared for it to take months or possibly never before you get all 10. It seemed like a rather rare & random drop.

Just out of curiosity which page did you get and what mob dropped it in what location? Given that they drop all over the world it's unlikely we can find them but it can't hurt documenting.

Oh, and I don't know if they are soulbound or not but if any of you play on Flamehammer and don't have the patience to hold onto your pages my character's name is Lulamel :D

I had page 2 of the Morfare book. I had no idea what it was and deleted it.

A Cleric in beta I forget the name was hell bent on completing this quest before beta ended. If I recall correctly they had found the drop location of every page except for pages 3 and 8. I would suggest that you hold on to any pages you find. Especially if they are 3 and 8. ;)

When the Cleric asked what the reward was for completing the quest a dev responded "Something good". Baseless speculation is that it rewarded you with a high level mount of some sort. Maybe it summons you a dragon... ;)

It was the Morfare Council Quest from Olkurk in a Tavern in Khal. You need to collect 10 pagers from all over Telon. The reward was a Dragon. The council members generally wore white robes and talked of being corrupted. Treleana is the person who was doing the quest in beta.

Interesting, how do you know the reward is a dragon since Treleana never completed it in beta? As far as I know, nobody completed and two pages were never found... there was also never anything said that linked the Morfare council members together (only a couple were found, one of which was very deep in Vol Tuniel..).

I believe that Treleana plays on Shidreth. I'd be interested to hear if that's true that he had specific drop locations for 8 of them. My guess is he probably doesn't want to divulge them if that's the case but could someone who plays with him at least find out if there are indeed specific drop locations for each page? If that's the case a player that played their low levels on Thestra might never see a certain page if it only drops from a low level mob on Kojan.

A page drops within the Gulgrethor Fortress. If I remember, it was Page 4, and it drops in the early parts.

Could be they drop like body parts and can still be obtained at higher levels. Can anyone verify this?

Page 8 drops from spiders in Trengal's Keep on Thestra. I was in a party yesterday and 4 dropped in a short period of time. Most of the party didn't even want them.
