Starting Civic Diplo

I just got civic diplo quests, but one of them is learning about prestige, fractions, and the consequence of losing. The thing is its telling me to talk to my trainer to learn more. Well I tried to talk to the civic diplo trainer and they have nothing and I ran all the way back to the starter area where I first got diplo and he has nothing too. I'm so confused. Also if it helps I'm in Mordok or whatever that towns called.

One more thing is on the circle of drums I can only beat two of the 4. I've tried every combination and just can't win. Anyone have any idea what to do?

i'm having the same issue regarding the training - i'm a halfling but my mission-giver said the same thing - go find your trainer and learn more then go back - however, none of the four NPC's that i've dealt with for diplomacy help me with this, leading me to wonder if this is bugged or if i just haven't been told who my trainer for this actually is.

See, this is what I thought also, they don't explain the quest too well, or allow you to select too many of the line of quests from him at once. The trainer is him, why he says "your trainer, or "trainer" i have no idea.

What is supposed to happen is, you get the tutorial quest, then you select the other information quest, apparently the information quest (get 2 Hearsay for Blackmail) IS the first step in the tutorial quest and you have to complete that one to get to the second part of the tutorial. However, the next step requires too much noble (or another presence, can't remember) presence that I don't have and i can't even do it.

And it seems being at skin level 53 i'm starting to get ones that require skill level 60 or higher, i know that's not too hard for me probably (still a beginner myself really, lots of stuff to learn) but i'd rather not be kill on site by my own city anytime soon, it's hard enough as is.

i have the same problem in hathor zhi and was very frustrating, so basically these quests should be a chain? i.e. get gossip etc first THEN do the other quest to get info from trainer?

i literally been back and forth from town to garrison area with no luck whilst finding the odd npc to parley with then loosing! lol then the option to parley with tht npc goes away :s

so, somehow find npcs to get gossip from and do 1st quest, THEN do the quest for introduction

any clues where to find the npcs willing to do parleys for this quest plz?
