Kicked to Character Screen

Well, when I tried to check out the Sony support forums I get a "No Permission" message so I'll try this here.

After today's patch (Feb. 6) whenever I'm in combat grinding out XP after about 10 minutes or so I get kicked to the character selection screen. This never happens if I'm not in combat and I think it has something to do with a new ability I'm learning while in combat? Yeah I'm kind of confused too.

With the new patch I guess classes can begin learning new abilities via combat and the one for my class, warrior, is "Destroy I" (I think that's it). Anyways I've technically learned the ability over 8 times and what I've noticed is about 4 of those times I crashed right before learning the new ability or right after learning it. Oh and the kicker is I never actually learn the ability, I receive a message telling me that I have learned it and it tells me what the ability does.

I have done a full file scan with the patcher (which added 5 fps to my performance, even though nothing was downloaded) and nothing was missing or updated.

Any ideas? I'm a warrior, I must stab things!:cry:

Don't try and learn or use the ability?

I guess I didn't explain it well. I have no choice, it is automatically learned while in combat. I'll receive, while fighting, messages saying "You are learning Destroy I! But must keep studying!" I have no choice. Nor can I use the ability because it is never actually "learned." It is stuck in a loop of "study/learn/study/learn."

Take a break. Watch NCIS and the Unit. Watch a movie. Go bowling. Play a Bard.

They'll most likely patch it up tomorrow or later to fix the issue, but it likely won't be fixed 'right away' if it is affecting all Warriors.
