All the other people who seem to have problems get to the character selection screen. I have yet to see one where they never get to the character selection screen.
I know the servers are down now.. but since the boot last night I couldn't log in. I tried two different accounts granted both accounts have 8 characters each on the same server Florendyl. I tried at 530pm est, 545pm 6pm. Each and every single time I get a BSD (black screen o' death) w/ the system hourglass cursor. I let is do that for about 10 minutes each. I can't alt tab out, can't control alt delete to stop the process nothing. My whole computer locks up and I never get to character select screen.
This never happened to me in beta. The closest I would get was the old "connecting" window in the client prior to when you could select the beta server.
Just in case I did a full scan of the game files the second time around today (545 estish). Same thing. It doesn't matter which account I use I get the same black screen and comp lock up.
Anyone having similar issues?
