Outfitter - LVL 11 Amateur Quest

All right. I spend three hours looking around Martok for Kef Jortul. Someone finally comes to my aid over the crafting channel as I'm fit to break something as I have just died for the fifth time. I've lost a half level's worth of exp, and have finally found the bastard.

Okay, I get the quest. Tells me to make several of two items and come back. I recall out of there back to Ca'ial Brael and look to set to work. I don't have the recipes.

I'm supposed to make Kojani Ratty Leather Gloves (4 of these suckers), and 2 Kojani Cotton Sleeves. I don't have the recipes. I look at the quest in my journal. It says I should have them.

So any outfitters out there that have finished this quest that can tell me if the recipes are just misnamed or something, or do I have to go back and reset the quest? I have no clue what to do, and after four hours trying to get TO this quest only to have this happen has frustrated me beyond belief :/ Please help.

Just to be sure: Have you gone to the refining table, first, and looked under Special?

You will need to make cotton bolts and ratty bundles (I think--my memory is bad) first at the refining table, then toddle off to the finishing table to start, where, once again, the recipies are found under "Special."

That's where I found mine, if you do not find yours in place than I am afraid I've not been much of a help after all. :/

Aye, thanks a bunch. You were helpful :) I went to the refining table first because I thought I would have to make the bundles and bolts, but the recipes weren't there. I suppose it got a little screwed up. I'll head back and reset the quest. Hopefully that will help.

I'm completely frustrated by this quest, to be honest. It has taken me all day to figure out how to get the faction so I can go from Tanvu (where I started) to Martok (where I have to go) safely. Once I did that, I couldn't find Kef until i came here and someone said where he was moved to.

Now I have the quest, but it requires ratty bundles and cotton bales. And I cannot get the recipe for either of those yet.

Has anyone been able to do this quest successfully (without outside help) this weekend? Or is it truly bugged?

I did this quest by myself three days ago. I did not have either recipie, they were given to me by Kef--found under Refining and Special Recipies, where I proceeded to make the cotton bolts I needed for the two sleeves and the ratty bundles needed for the four gloves.

Once I had made the bolts and bundles, I moved on to the finishing table, and found the Gloves and Sleeves recipies under Special Recipies once again.

:/ It truly sounds like you are bugged. :o
