I know that Each Race and Each Class have their own Diplomacy Advantage. For Example Dark Elves are Inspire and Clerics are Inspire.
Do adding both a Race and Class of the same Diplomacy Type increase in any way their Diplomacy Abilities?
In other words, would a Dark Elf Cleric be better at Diplomacy than say a Dwarf Cleric?
Any Advice appreciated.
Thank you

Your race dictates your starting powerful assertions (4 and 5 point influence cards) as well as your evaluations.
Your class dictates your starting comment.

I read the articles at vgtact.com prior to making my post. The thing is they don't go into explanation of How ones Race and Class affect your Diplomacy.
It simply makes a statement that assumes everyone fully understands the deep inner workings of Diplomacy at it's core.
The Statements:
"Your race will determine your starting powerful Assertions."
"Your starting class will determine your 1 point influence comment."
These are not only vague but leaves me and I'm sure others to ask. How does it determine your starting powerful Assertions or Influence comment? And in what way does that affect your diplomacy?
One could say: A character with the same Class and Race Diplomacy Type would have a higher advantage in that particular conversation.
One could also say: A character with the same Class and Race Diplomacy Type would be limited in conversations outside their Diplomacy Type.
That is the gist of what I am referring to in my question. If ones Race and Class both effect Diplomacy, how do they limit or benefit diplomacy when combined on the same Type?
Thank you,

They don't limit Diplomacy, as you can eventually get stuff from the other expressions. Thus far only the initial comment is determined by your class.

Okay I will try to give a little better explanation.
First off....
To answer your question... No choosing a race/class combo that have the same base type will give you no advantage. Class cards are the same across the board with only the expression type being different. They give you 2 influence and feed your opponent 1 of everything.
When you choose a race it determines what your primary type of expression will be. These primary expressions determine your strength. An inspire toon for example will be strong doing incites and gossips but have a hard time doing convince parleys because their primary expression is blocked. This is for the most part balanced because everyone will start out with 1 parley type they aren't that good at and have to work a lot harder to win.
There are quest cards available that allow you to build a stronger deck for parleys outside your primary expression. I do disagree that you can build as strong a deck though. I have yet to see alot of quest cards that give 4 or 5 influence and have a 1-2 round refresh. You are however able to build a workable deck for most parley types at your level.
It's after midnight and I've been up since 5 this morning so hopefully this makes sense and somewhat answers your question.

This is great. I have been playing and now have my Shaman up to level 28 Diplomat. I definitely see what you mean now about the difficulties in certain situations. I have been able to add several new cards to my deck, though I wish in many cases I had more of the cards I see the NPC play that cost 0 or next to 0 and move the conversation like 3-5 and usually give me either nothing or nothing I can use. I'd like to be able to return the favor. hehehe.
Thanks, I am going along strong now. Hopefully gonna work up to the Horse Quest today after work.

I guess you didn't read the guide I have up. You have to understand the language in order to understand the game.
Comment is a type of card. When you play it, you give your opponent expression while giving yourself influence. As to the other poster who said all comment cards are the same, they are not. Everyone starts with Snippet of Wisdom, you get another comment statement (statements are your cards) based on your class. Your class comment gives you one (1) influence while giving your opponent some expression. Each class comment gives your opponent different kinds of expression.
Your race defines your assertions. Assertions are statements (cards) that cost you expression to play but yield high amounts of influence while at the same time giving your opponent expression as well. Different assertions give your opponent different kinds of expression, cost you various amounts of expression and yeild various amounts of influence.
In a nutshell, completely basic: Your race provides you with your strong diplomacy color while leaving you weak at the other three colors. Your class has very little effect on your diplomatic career.
And before anyone starts asking which colors/races are best: there are none, each race is strong in one color and weak in the other three. Ergo, move to a races area to exploit their weakness (which is currently disabled while they tune their weak deck).
