[Known Cleric Sympathetics]

1. Cleric/Bloodmage - Group heals react off eachother and provide bonuses such as instant cast time and reduced energy cost.

2. Cleric/Cleric - When two Clerics cast Rejuvinate on the same target they react with eachother and provide a slight healing bonus.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I finally discovered a Cleric sympathetic combination with our fellow healers, the Bloodmage!

Last night I had the privilege of running a Trengal Keep group with a bunch of guildies. One of them was a Bloodmage. Before long we were both commenting about our group heals having a slight purple outline to them on occasions.

Upon further twiddling around, we discovered that if either one of us cast our group heal, and it had NOT completely healed our group, that the other healer's group heal would highlight purple. When we clicked our now purple group heal it would cast ALMOST INSTANTLY and NOT cost mana. This was merely an observation and obviously not exactly figured out. I have to test it out more to determine if it was completely mana free or if it truly made it instant cast. All I can say is that FOR SURE Clerics and Bloodmages can achieve bonuses when using group heals in conjunction with eachother.

It was really quite amazing to finally see a "sympathetic" in action. There were no special messages when this occurred. It was simply the outline of purple which clued us in.

We do not have this down to an exact science, but we were triggering it quite often. My Cleric group heal seemed to do more than the Bloodmage, so typically we tried to time it so the group was low and the Bloodmage would cast their group heal first (hopefully not filling everyone's bars up) and that would often leave me with my purple instant/free group heal.

Have other Clerics found similar situations with different classes? If so list them here! It will benefit us all to learn more about these bonuses.

Awesome news. Great find. Any indication how long you had to use the sympathetic heal?

There wasn't any kind of timer bar but it felt like it had to be done while group members were still injured and within a relatively close amount of time. I don't think I ever saw the purple outline last longer than 6 seconds or so. The purple outline would disappear when the majority of the group had most of their health.

It does. If two Clerics have the same person targeted and one begins casting Rejuvenate the ability will become sympathetic for the second Cleric. Last time I did it the ability cast like normal but I was healed for a slight amount in return. The way adventuring is going right now this sympathetic isn't worth it. Two Rejuvenates on a single target are wasted. Perhaps in raiding situations this could become a great boon.

Nice find. Added it to the list of known sympathetics. I'll have to try it out sometime myself, but I rarely get to group with another cleric.
