This is in response to the negative posts. I really enjoy this game, and think it's time for some defense of it.

I think the whole problem with MMO's today is not the games, but the people that play them. Somewhere along the way someone sold people on this grind concept and it's been embraced, along with the 'get there first,' philosophy.

It's time people just started going out for the adventure, no grind, just grab a friend and diver into the hardest dungeon you stand a chance in and have some fun. This game, and any sandbox style game, is only as challenging and fun as you make it.

Sure I've got some complaints, but I will say that none of my complaints are show stoppers. They'll fix the bugs, and they'll open new areas. In-game communities will form when they're ready and trading will begin in earnest at some point.

It's the competitive ones that embrace and promote the "race to end game" philosophy. Personally I say "screw them," but it's not completely my call.

I never get the gripes on grinding, i think the word should just go away.

The original word (as i think it) of grinding was to sit in one spot, all the time and kill the same mobs over and over and over. Get a level and go to another spot to do the same thing. Who really does this in Vanguard?

ALot of people consider everything outside of questing, grinding. So then the quests, which are the majority of them, have you go kill certain number of mobs or different mobs in order etc.....isnt grinding?

The way people classify it, then everything is a grind. You grind out diplomacy, crafting, harvesting, exploring, levels, skills..you get the point. With everything in this game you are doing pretty much the same thing over and over again to raise skills and levels.

i don't get it. You can do whatever you want in this game and its all fun. So ill see you in Telon, grinding away
