Don't Forget HOSS, Syndicate of Gods (both now retired) From the Dro server nothing like some good ole flameage on our boards when they were around.

Remaining guilds there are doing great in their own respect, I dont think you get to hear about guilds as much now ever since SOE caved in to that blasted instanced zones BS. My props to Tenacity www.tenacityguild.com and my always favorite but now retired guild Shades of the Void www.shadesofthevoid.com

All depends on how long you been playing EQ to say which guild is the biggest and well known to be honest. Each server is it's own little world, each one being a different world from the other and have different rules applied. I would even go as far as saying this also depends on the expansion.

For instance I could say Realm of Insanity and I'm pretty sure 98% of the people here don't even know who they are. They happened to be first guild to beat GoD, and also think they were only ones for awhile that beat it. This info is coming from SOE offical leader boards.

So in long run there is no way to compare cause ever guild has it's time of passing and another guild steps up to take it's place. This also holds true for some of the most famous groups ie... mana burn, shaman, necro, and rogue teams.

I was lucky enough to be a part of Club Fu and Leviathan in EverQuest; both were really good guilds. Club Fu is still going strong.

Triton?

They may have seen some glory days in EQ but in Varking they are amateurs at best. They talk a lot of smack in /ooc but we owned their whole little raid group in under 10 secs.

I don't think a big three is useful since the third will pale in comparison with the other two: Afterlife and FoH (force me to choose a third and I'd say maybe Legacy of Steel). Interesting to see how they both parleyed their experience in EQ into big success with WoW. Furor works for Blizzard and God only knows what Thott made in his deal for Thottbot.
