Careless bump.

Bug: The heroic summoning item summons legendary throwing stars.
Also, they are damage range 1252-1252 (which is currently irrelevant as throwing dosen't take the damage of thrown object into calculation anyhow) which seems way over the line.

Somehow I think a shield is the last thing a drk would want, but that just imho.

You'l need them for raid mobs. The 40 legendary shield has a 2% or so higher block chance against 50s than a 52 Rare shield.

Well that's assuming you actually want to tank it

Here's my problem. When I use a 2h weapon I do more DPS and it seems to be easier to maintain agro with the mob. I can't tell you how many times I've amazed groupmates with my ability to hold agro using my dk skills and 2h weapon.

The few times I've tried to tank with a shield and 1hs (28 dps) weap I always have trouble maintaining agro and that doesn't make rogues and bards very happy... or the healers for that matter.

What I would like to see implemented in the game at some point is a 1h weapon for Paly/Dks with increased dps to make up for the fact they can't dual wield.

Well at 50 you won't have that problem if hearing that makes you feel better, also they are removing the -damage modifier from Armor of Darkness. You guys will be good to go.

Its great more weapons are being added, with the exception of the bow's that s been the only part that s been kind of lacking in this largely fun and enoyable area so far.

Perhaps either you or your groupmates arent very good at aggroe management. Or perhaps the 1Hs you use arent as good as the weapons your dps has.

#1 your dps should control aggroe.
#2 with the addition of the ratliate line I find myself generating much more hate with sword and board. (Currently using graystone sword of purification and legendary Leth Verael shield.)
#3 IF the devs didnt expect DPS to get aggroe on occasion they would not have added rescues and abilities like seething hatred.

I looked forward for days to getting that shield on my DK while i farmed the upgrade mats and am still using it at 46 with no sign of a replacement on the horizon.

anyone see a problem with this? the graystone bow is better than than the legendary bow and the graystone bow can be done in just a couple of days while the wardship bow takes weeks of tedious grinding. the graystone bow is also a warbow which gives it a distinct advantage.

the proc Dusk of the Harbringer hits for around 1k damage but has like a 2% proc rate which makes it practically useless. The wardship bows need some big upgrades because right now i feel i have wasted all that time for nothing as do others I'm sure.

3DMG is better?

Based on their point system for gear, yes, a lvl 40 Legendary should be roughly equal to a lvl 46 Heroic, regardless of the route to acquire it.

I would say the +30 more Bow skill, +30 more Archery skill and +74 Awareness that the Graystone bow doesn't have, as well as the Hit proc, makes these bows, at a minimum, equal. Regardless of the 5 more range.

Everything from Wardship is eclipsed by other gear later on, if not drastically improved upon. ALL OF IT. (Even the legendary shield will be eclipsed once the unmarked shield quest line is fixed, as it will be a lvl 48 Heroic end result).

Wardship is a choice, not a requirement.

But, it is stupid to get the bow and miss out on the sword or dagger. Get the Wardship bow then get the sword or dagger.
