I honestly don't think they will ever make casters happy. Like the poster above many people think the Rhaz Robe and leggings suck, and many think its great. I've heard many say "focus is garbage to me, give me +percents). You guys are all over the place.

ETA when this will be live?

The Prophet quest in Rahz... awesome.. will we see more events like this?
(Meaning maybe a little faction but mostly a quest line and story involved NOT a giant faction grind!)

Yup yup agree, more harder encounters, less faction grind, less tank & spank, and it's OK to make groups die.

Wow I just realized I'm evil.. But heck, I talked to several people around, they agree boss encounters can be harder in VG =)

Thanks for keeping us posted, I am looking forward to this dungeon! I just hope they make it difficult. I am tired of encountering level 50+ named 6-dot mobs that can be brought down with the same strategy I used when I was level 10...

Keep in mind these aren't raid encounters. In most games, the average named isn't really anything more than a slightly harder version of something you've fought before.

I'm trying to do a little more than that here obviously.

As to when it's live (and COMPLETE), that's just a matter of when we patch next. If I had to GUESS (note.. I said guess!!), it'd be late next week.

I'm still working on itemization, and likely will be doing so throughout the weekend.

Is the bug which is supposed to have been addressed in patch 1809 but still occuring to many players is also in your schedule? Coz at least my character is hit by it. Even tried grinding more faction but nothing helped.

FYI this is in 1809 patchnote:

- Gorgalog Swamp - Karoz of the Ichtakhta will now allow players to view the upgradeable armor after completion of the quest "Favor of the Ichtakhta". The improved armor is viewable via the Assembly Window.

Please swing outside and fix the mutated stingers quest as well. The rock never produces a glowing fragment, however it gives you credit for the quest. Without the fragment the quest line doesn't continue after turn in.

I have a petition in on HIlsbury to get the rock. Hopefully the GM's can help. Anyone had luck with this?

Im on the side of harder encounters, my static group has completed KE, Lycern, RoTK, Pantheon, Darguns Tomb, Graystones and now onto Xennemut and nothing since RoTK has even looked like wiping us. I really hope this dungeon is designed to give the really kitted out groups a tough time and also make us think about what to do to get to the next stage.

Thanks for the updates Eli really appreciated and look forward to tackling this dungeon.

This area is probably 60% done now from a population standpoint. I've started working on the actual rare npc encounters now and itemization/quests will follow that later this week.

But to be clear.. this area is NOT ready yet. So if you go there now, expect to find it in a state of development with no item drops.
Can you find some concept or idea to give that kind of information in game? Perhaps a sign of GOD? Anything that flash enough to give that information in game? Like the page In CONSTRUCTION we see on the web? Perhaps a big line of smooke that goes on the sky, a flashing light at the entrance, some Symboles used to said it, something... to say That place is There but not ready to play?

Or can u used some generic itemization and mob rendering while you populated them?

I have yet to run across this dungeon, If it's actualy in the gorg chunk does that mean it will be for Itchaka quest items?

If this is the case is there also going to be 2 other dungeons that are for the other factions armor upgrades or is this going to be some common enemy to all 3 factions where all factions will obtain the items for their armor upgrades?

Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

At least that's my plan
I missed this part of the post, I guess that means this is unrelated to the armor quests?

Is there a chance we can avoid grinding 16k faction, or 1k shards or 100 super rare things to be able to get the final goal in this dungeon... please?

There are still pieces and items you get from here that are used in the armor quests, but that's not the focus.

I see no faction grinding and such here to get to the big stuff

Itemization is complete, though you might not have the patch yet. I did the majority of it and my team finished it up this past week while I've been taking a break to deal with some personal family stuff.

I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. I'm hoping you guys get a decent challenge out of the encounters. They range from straight up toe-to-toe to "WTF am I supposed to do here?" fights.

I'd like your feedback on this place. Be brutally honest. If something sucks, tell me, and I'll tune it. Of course.. if you have fun in here, tell me that too
