Default Run/Mountspeed different since patch ?

Not sure if there was a bug somewhere that got fixed or if a new bug was introduced but I noticed on my 44 Sorcerer last night that I've seem to have lost about 30% mounted speed and some from normal runspeed too.

One odd thing as well is that the change seems to have happened once I ported from Dragon's Backbone to my bind point. I looked at my mounted speed % before I ported for whatever reason and noticed that after I ported it was reduced by about 30%. I didn't have any speed buffs on at the time except for Unicorn + Enchanted True Silver Horseshoes + Quicksilver ring. Yet my speed dropped when I ported.

I took off my horseshoes and recasted the quicksilver ring and they both are adding to speed so it's not a stacking issue.

Anyone else experiencing the same thing ?

You are regularly loosing the ring buffs with zone changes (loading screen).
If you really like to get light into the dark you would need to provide the numbers for every speed component and how they add up.

You don’t need to recast the ring to reapply the buff. Just taking the ring off and equipping it again will do the job.

its not the ring buff its the horseshoes.

Truesilver horseshoes have a bug when you zone you loose the mount speed. generally have to de-pop horse or re-equip horseshoes to fix it.

I never ever noticed that bug, by the way.

Anytime I checked my speed it was where it should be.
