Default Please Help Me!!!

Ok so below is what i have in my custom built computer and i
was told the graphics card can not work with Vanguard or Everquest 2. It
runs Dungeons and Dragons Online and World of Warcraft great but when i
tried Everquest 2 it was not compatable (the graphics card). So now i
plan to try out Vanguard (thou i hear bad news on it). Please tell me
what card i need to get for around $100.00 to be able to play Vanguard!

Power Supply : Raidmax 450 watt power supply

RAM : DDR 533 1 Gb kingston ram

Operating System: Windows XP home edition

Since your motherboard limits you to AGP you are kinda limited on choices.

It looks like, for right around $100, your best bet is something like this Evga 7600 GT at $107 pre-rebate, $87 post rebate.

An ATi x1650XT is pretty close at $95.

Be aware that neither is a really good card, particularly on AGP, so don't expect overwhelming performance. You should be able to squeeze 1280x1024 at 'balanced' settings out of either though I'd think.

(I have no clue what that GPU you have is.)

I'd say go Nvidia, particularly since that's an Evga card. They have the 90 day "step up" policy, so if you want to upgrade and can get more $ you have 90 days to trade in the card for something better.

The first one is the Nvidia. That's the manufacturer of the GPU. Evga is the manufacturer of the particular card in question.

dont forget about his RAM. i see no way for him to be able to run vanguard on only 1GB.
