In my search for good wallpaper I have had a hard time finding them for things like my favorite shows, games, etc. While listening to the most recent podcast I thought I’d just bust a few out for Rift using the existing artwork that’s out there. So, without further adieu here ya go. Enjoy.

In order to use the Wallpaper(s) create a folder on your hard drive and copy them from here to there (or connect to your iPhone and use the folder that matches your iPhone name). (Right click and “Save Picture as”.) When in iTunes, click on “Devices”, select the “Photos” tab, check on “Sync photos from” and select the folder you created. The next time you sync to your iPhone all the photos copied from the folder will be copied to the iPhone. You can then go to your iPhone “settings”, choose “Wallpaper” and select the image you like from the “photo library” and set it for the Lock Screen, Home Screen, or Both.

PS, a few were upscaled in resolution; notably the class ones. Those may not look quite as great as the rest. Also, a few would have been upscaled too much, so I let those be. Those would likely make better Lock Screen wallpapers than Home Screen.

Due to a low view count on the thread I haven't kept this one up. There are tons of iPhone AND Droid wallpapers over at the rift forums. Just search for either and you should find them.

Apparently my postings peaqued(?) the interest of the graphic artist and in the future we'll see official iPhone / Droid wallpapers being sent out by the devs.

Yeah, the mod that I PMed to ask if it was ok said that it peaked the graphic artist's curiosity and got them all excited when I first started the threads. Now I think both iPhone and Droid threads are up around 750+ views with 50+ comments each (which is about double most threads, though well below the top threads that have thousands of views), and I think each have about ... looks like 50-65 wallpapers for each depending on which you are looking at.

I expect I'll likely continue to make mine and the official ones will be much more rarely put out.

I'm curious to know how many devs I infected there. The mod mentioned that after I started posting them several devs snatched them up for their own phones.
