Fixing windowed chat?

Is there a UI mod that fixes VG's windowed chat problem (the problem being that you can't chat). Would like to stream the occasional VG session and justin.tv will not stream full screen video at this time (March 2011).

Any pointers to anywhere appreciated!

Got chat to work in windowed mode - but not quite sure how. I think just camping and restarting a few times did it. If it happens again I'll try and figure out how I fixed it.
