There's
a dev video too where they sort of contradict themselves in design. The dev says "there are no levels", but continues that with "you use experience you get to open up skills." So... you gain experience and it sounds like everything is skill treed after that. Thus, however many skills you open and how deep you go roughly translates to level. Maybe he doesn't get that conecpt.

It does make for some interesting possibilities, but it worries me that unless the trees go deep we may see an awful lot of hybriding. (Unless they restrict trees by faction, which just means we'd see a lot of within faction hybriding that don't look like the other faction hybrids.)
But then too it makes me happy as this potentially means it could be one of the few games where I can truly make my Warrior/Rogue hybrid. But then I was expecting to go Templar, so I don't know how important a role stealth will play in such a game.
