In their form that they were in, yes, but there's nothing to stop them from doing something like 'templar' or 'cavalier' or something. 
Though the pannel from BlizzCon kind of implied Paladin won't be playable for the forseeable future. (It was mentioned they have long-term plans for them in lore, but implied they won't be seen again as "paladin" until several expansions or possibley even not at all until Diablo 4.)

Monk was in Hellfire. Has to be a bow type and seeing as there didnt seem to be a female model of the Monk (that I could see) I'm placing bets on it being Rogue, be good to find a bit more about the sisterhood tbh.

No Female monk. Felicia Day was there when they "flipped the switch" and told people to log out and log back in and they could play monk. (She apparently used her celeb status to go in line and play D3 6x hehe Hawt gamer grrrl is hawt!  ) |

How out of place does the Witch Doctor look? A friend brought this up last night in Xfire chat. I hadn't noticed but if you look at it he looks like hes from another game, I remember the original D2 manual (the big real-manual, when gaming boxes were huge and epic!) showing some places the game didn't include so I'm guessing an area or two will be included that suites his art style.
Well I'm still pissed that they bothered to create the Witch Doctor and removed the greatest summoner of any game, the Necromancer. I really did think the Necromancer would return as he is absolutely awesome and the silly zombie wall as well as silly fleshling things the 'doc has don't cut it.
Give me skeletons, curses, revives, poison nova, bone spear, bone spirit, bone walls, and golems any day of the week.
Apart from that, and my other 20 things I dislike about the game it seems to be shaping up quite nicely.

Pity, that's a hell of a wait. Not that I'm much of a fan of Diablo but I was kinda interested to see it. But if it's a year off, it's getting relegated in my brain to 'think about almost never'.

Except for the fact that some of us are in beta now, and that they have already confirmed SC2 is coming soon. (I believe they are looking at Summer, as in a few months from now.)

I hate waiting for stuff. And it's even worse when you wait for ages and then it all goes wrong, like Vanguard, or Alan Wake which got switcherood to Xbox only, or.. [insert countless other let downs here].

I'm still unsure if I'll buy it. The beta has been very Diablo'esque with the look, sound, and feel, but it doesn't seem to entertain me like it used to. I also DESPISE the idea of a real-money auction hall.

Release is this Tuesday. I've been on the fence, but Blizzard puts a lot of effort into their games. There's no doubt this will be the definitive hack-and-slash for quite awhile. I'm going to buy it. A buddy is going to pick it up as well and we can co-op.
