I'm definitely going to go look for that Acai juice.. that sounds wonderful
As for me and food, I'm somewhat of a health food nut, so I really watch what I eat (though yes I do have my moments)
A couple of easy to throw together and healthy & filling soups:
low sodium beef broth
your fav spices
lots of fresh veggies - I use zucchini, squash, green beans, throw in some lentils, garbanzo's, red beans...whatever sounds good really. If you make enough you can always divide it up into serving size containers and freeze it.
Another easy and good for you fav
Low sodium chicken broth
chicken (I use only white meat, but that's just me)
Cook the chicken in the chicken broth until done. Remove the chicken, shred it and put it back into the crockpot with the broth. Add a bag of frozen veggies (I use peas/carrots but you can use whatever) and about a cup of wild rice. Add a can or two of chicken gravy for xtra flavor. Cook until done - should turn out somewhat thick. This tastes like chicken pot pie without the crust
