Hey yall didnt play beta so dont be too harsh. I want to know what the color to item quality relation is, my guess is below from low to high:

White (common)
Green (uncommon)
Blue (rare)
Yellow (heroic? or is there another level before?)

Is that correct? I dont want to sell a blue/green item for cheap cheap if its actaully a rare drop. So far lvl 9 Sorc and 1 blue drop 1 green buy.

I'm not a crafter, but I think better items (toward the low end of the scale) can be disassembled by crafters to get good raw material like dusts. Because of this, rare items are valuable just for being rare. Sell these magical items to crafters for scrapping purposes, not NPC vendors.

What about the junk items mobs drop are those of any usage? I've gotten a few blue labbeled things like "Crab Claw"

Aye Ive also gotten mob drops (not armor/weapons) that were yellow/blue/green in name.

Do they have a use or just vendor trash?

The coloring of some "junk" stuff in the loot window (but not in the inventory) was a bug that should have been fixed in the patch yesterday. Is this still happening to people? If so, I suck.

The coloring of the vendor junk used to indicate how valuable it was. Yellow color vendor trash sold for good $. Blue sold for decent $. And green or white vendor trash drops sold for 1-4 copper each. On the lvl 10-ish mobs, blue tended to sell for 6-8 copper each and yellow = 12-16.

Didn't realize they were removing the color for those vendor trash drops. Ah well.

If you inspect a GM or Knight, you'll see they got purple items. I'm guessing that is "epic", if purple stuff is even withing player reach.

Nice to see Sigil peeps posting since the official forums went down. But I cannot say wether or not you sux at programming since I havent been back on after the servers went down yesterday POS JOB
