Default Just amazing

The Pantheon of the Ancients is an amazing zone both w/ challenge ( some of the quests are really cool ) and just the sheer size / look & feel. Kudos to the Sigil team for their work in the dungeons.

Speaking of which, while looking at the screenshots it reminded me that I forgot to /bug this last night ( was busy at the time ), look at the message when seeing what people are getting from the Cash Loot option in the last screenshot above.

Interesting... I don't really see what your talking about... All I can see is you trying to show off your crits... o well... Let me know when you get some good screens of the zone though!

Erm, I have good gear and crit quite a lot... most of my combat is full of them sorry!

I was trying to show different spots of the zone while fighting... we didn't do much sight-seeing because we were busy trying to quest for a few hours in there.

But yeah I can see where you might get that idea.

If I wanted to show off crits I'd link this one:
http://jeff.lumacs.net/pics/VG/crit.jpg ... and that's on a normal spell not Chaos Volley after being ramped up high ( can you say 15k + hits ? )

Anyhow, thanks for derailing my thread so quickly.

I did this quest while the quests were turned off, so while I didn't get to experience that part of it, I did get the same "wow" effect when we first started getting really deep. The place is simply huge, and we never did explore the whole thing. Its beautifully done, and let me tell ya, that lamprey at 1am can really give you goosebumps lol!

Yeah I totally agree. The roaming 6-dot patrollers keep you on your toes on certain parts of quests ( where you can't just avoid them totally ) too.

If you haven't out-leveled them you need to go back now that the quests are working. I have a feeling I'm going to be in here all weekend.

You are right, it does look like an incredible zone. What level range is it if you don't mind me asking? What continent?

The lowest level mob is 28 I think. I haven't gotten to the very deepest parts yet but so far everything has been < 32 ( minus the 6-dot patrollers who aren't meant to be killed, they have insanely high regen ).

It's found in the Strand of the Ancients ( northeast Qalia ).

So dungeons DO actually get interesting at higher lvls? Im 12 and so far ive grouped in 3 different dungeons, all of which have just been boring cave systems chocked with monsters. I didnt mind ksaravi hollow though.

I am dissapointed with dungeons however, i thought we'd have epic dungeons like unrest, blackburrow and cbk. Its been 5 years + of progress and all im seeing are constant cave systems.

Dungeons definately get better. Now there are a few 'cave-like' basic areas even at this level but there are definately some good premiere dungeons. That Ksaravi cave isn't really a dungeon though. Even the Hive ( which you should be starting soon ) isn't really a dungeon. When you enter one of the real dungeons you won't be asking yourself whether it's a dungeon or not... it's like night and day.

I thought the Hollows in Khal was nice for a low level dungeon, Rift Seekers Torrent in Tursh is another very nice, non-cave dungeoin and the Floating Island dungeon in Jalen's Crossing is another nice, non cave dungeon for lower levels. There are a lot of caves out there but there are some nice looking non caves out there as well. There are just fewer of those since you will level past them quickly.

Can you be more specific? I just spent almost an hour looking around the area. Nada... just a few lizard mobs and some snakes, heh.

In the area with the lizards, go to the top. There's a temple. Go into the back of the temple until you find a giant block of stone in the middle ( you'll know what I mean when yo usee it ).

Type: /say nar'issk

It's a magical 'seal' with a command word to open it.

Once the block disappears, enter the big room w/ the stairs, go to the right side of the room. You'll see a column there. On the backside of the column is a black square. Click it and you will see the stairs split to reveal stairs going down. There it is. Enjoy!

That reminds me... anyone have a general idea of where Crysol Mines might be? I've been looking around, and I have yet to find a reference even to what continent it's on.
