For all those who pvp

What's up everyone I am picking this game up in the next couple of day but had a few questions.
I've been playing MMO's since the MUD days and when EQ1 first showed it's face I was blown away and hooked every since. I've played DAOC after that then moved on to SB, LineageII, EQII, then WOW, I've enjoyed WOW but it's kinda getting boring i've always missed a hardcore MMO but after reading about this game I know it's not a pvp based game but the elements sound awesome for one. Just was wondering if it's worth getting into a pvp server or just stick to a pve server?

I enjoy pvping and the whole guild town and house thing is right where I want to be, but was wondering if anyone has had experience in the game as playing on the pvp servers and which one is better as far as team pvp or everyone for themselves pvp thanks for taking the time to read this.

Me? I like Team PvP. I like having an enemy that I kill no questions asked when I see him. It's WAR. Being evil rocks!

FFA PvP is a gankfest IMO. Ya, some like it, and they're the best in the world (just ask em

). More power to em.

Right now, faction is kinda borked so that you can PK someone in their hometown while the guards just watch and laugh. That needs fixed, but other than that it's fun.

I feel the same way I want the raiding + the pvp and with the guild cities just makes it even more fun. I can see guild raids later on down the line when the game has had time to develop and they fix the bug issues

Heh this could not be farther from the truth. I played on Varking at release until I got into a good guild on the FFA server and honestly I was reluctant too, so Im not saying Kraznor is dumb or anything, I felt just like he did.

My guild leader who recruited me told me though, 'trust me you'll love it'.

So I gave it a shot since the guild was just so darn good and tempting.

Well I have not looked back and finally found my home. The ganking isn't bad at all and if you are used to WOW pvp, there was more ganking in WOW team pvp than in the FFA here.

I group up sometimes with people who ganked me and we make friends lol. Sometimes I don't and I hate the person forever just depends on the circumstances.

I can tell you I know some people on there from WOW blue servers and all are EXTREMELY happy with the FFA ruleset.

i really reccomend trying it and you can see in my siggy my characters names, feel free to send me a tell.

I got ganked 4 timmes in a row by different people tonight. I'm talking about I rez and start to go back to the town and get ganked 4 times trying. Now I have learned to take it wih a grain of salt but it happens all the time to me. maybe I have a kill me sign attached to me.

I'm enjoying the Team PvP myself. Not perfect, but entertaining to say the least.

FFA for the win! Im playing on tharridon and enjoying myself thoroughly. I have found so far that over 90% of the people you run into a peaceful, the other 10% is what makes FFA gameplay so exciting and dynamic, not knowing who's friend, whos foe. Love it!

There is less ganking on FFA server. Team servers pretty much give you a reason to kill other players, because they are 'your enemy'.

He is probably right, I play on team pvp and if there is a goodie near us, region chat goes berserk and the hunt is on. To me, THAT is fun as well, cause the community really gets involved.
