Gave it a shot

Well i gave the game a shot for almost 3 weeks. i will not pay a monthly fee for this game not at the moment.

My top personnel issues with the game. Not in any particular order.

1. Its always night. (90% of the time). How can i enjoy these so called stunning graphics when its always dark. The color wears on you and you get bored of it fast.

2. Constant memory leaks that make it it virtually unplayable at times.

3. Sigil clamims they have 100k members now. Anytime I do a player search in game looking for more players it only show like 45 total players. Where are the other 999,960 players?

4. I had to buy a new video card because my Nvida 6600 would play the game and after the first patch they still didn't fix the issue.

5. Auction house sucks. I put 4 blue items and listed them for super cheap because they were not selling and they still didn't sell. I guess when you only have 40 people looking at them chance on them selling are slim.

I could list about 20 more issues. The bottom line here in my OPINION is we have a game here that was suppose to set the bar high for all mmos to come and now they have just lowered it.

I deleted the game and canceled my account. ill give it another go in about 6 months after they work out some of the bugs.

1. Adjust your gamma up.

2. Never had a problem with a memory leak so I can't comment on it.

3. You only did a search for that zone. Telon is 2300 square kilometers so there are more zones then the one you're in.

4. Upgrades are the nature of the beast. You would have had to have upgraded anyway with the newer games coming out for the PC.

5. Every item I have placed on the broker has sold. You just have to figure out which items are hot and which ones aren't.

1. Hmm, you must have some bad luck. Day and Night is split evenly for me!

2. I have crashed only twice due to memory leaks. try /flush every so often

3. 45 people? What server are you on? On Hilsbury there are that many people Crafting in Khal at any given time.

4. Replacing a 3 year old(at least video card) ? What do you expect!

5. Just because it's blue does not make it a good item. Also Cheap is a subjective term. What may be cheap to you may not be cheap to someone else. Also which is it 40 people or 45 , you seem to be contradicting yourself.

And as the above poster mentioned, Good Luck and Goodbye...Hope you have fun in whatever game you end up in. Kinda glad it's not here though!

If your play times are similar to your post times, i would guess many of the other 999,960 players are sleeping.

gotta say the math used is quite good too. 100k = 999,960 + 45....erm did the OP fail math?

but he is right with the night part.

As the day is so good looking i get depressions when it starts to darken. And as i can't wait until i see the sun again the night feels like lasting forever. I want my personal 90 minutes day 2 minutes night option in the settings please.

hmm i gotta agree about the sales, i'm a 14 almost 15 carpenter and i've manage to sale only 1 weapon for 3 silver. i've tried many different ones that i could actually make. no money for me.

The reason your showing 45 players is because the search caps itself at about 45 members, lessen your search criteria or check station players to get more acurate results. Also it is not 90% of the time night time ofcourse it has almost equal amounts of time It must just be your play times and nights really dont last that long. You can still up your gamma anyway.

Anyway sorry to see you disappointed enough to leave, come back when things improve.
