This is the only board ...
which will lock a thread with a positive note. Since when can there be only ONE thread about a subject? A thank you thread is locked while the flame fest that is 50 pages long continues to stay open? We obviously know what kind of players the mods are ...

reasonable ones . . . they chose to keep the longest running first thread on the subject? Instead of picking it based on the position of its content.

Do you have some sort of inferiority complex that makes you think you need to post a new thread about a subject that is already being discussed?
The mods are doing this because it helps keep the forum uncluttered and allows us to cover a variety of topics on the first page. I, for one, am thankful for their vigilance.

No I have a lazy complex that does not allow me to search every single thread on this board. I was just pissed to realize I actually made a positive thread last night only to come on today and see it was locked. Kinda pisses me off to be honest.
